The Lodge family is based on an IRL family with the same last name. They were purported to be just as extravagant as what you see on page and screen.
On Riverdale, there is a scene (?) but the comics also featured Betty and Veronica together as a Valentine’s special!
While Veronica is often portrayed as your typical mean girl, underneath she has a heart of gold.
