Perfect for fans of Shatter Me who are desperately awaiting the release of Unravel Me, this novella-length digital original will bridge the gap between these two novels from the perspective of the villain we all love to hate, Warner, the ruthless leader of Sector 45.

In Tahereh Mafi’s Shatter Me, Juliette escaped from The Reestablishment by seducing Warner—and then putting a bullet in his shoulder. But as she’ll learn in Destroy Me, Warner is not that easy to get rid of. . .

Back at the base and recovering from his near-fatal wound, Warner must do everything in his power to keep his soldiers in check and suppress any mention of a rebellion in the sector. Still as obsessed with Juliette as ever, his first priority is to find her, bring her back, and dispose of Adam and Kenji, the two traitors who helped her escape. But when Warner’s father, The Supreme Commander of The Reestablishment, arrives to correct his son’s mistakes, it’s clear that he has much different plans for Juliette. Plans Warner simply cannot allow.

Set after Shatter Me and before its forthcoming sequel, Unravel Me, Destroy Me is a novella told from the perspective of Warner, the ruthless leader of Sector 45.

*****

As the synopsis mentions, this novella is bridging the gap between Shatter Me and Unravel Me (release date: February 5th, 2013). But what is really exciting is this novella is told from the point-of-view of WARNER! Who doesn’t love to get inside of the psychopathic villainous mind and see what drives them?

“She Will Choose Me”

Warner has that special intensity that can easily be deemed creepy or sexy. He is powerful, he knows what he wants, and he wants Juliette badly, and he will do anything to get his way.  Juliette hasn’t told Adam her big secret about Warner, but Warner now has even more determination to make her his, forever.

I have not seen so many posts, reviews, and  opinions for a series that had more people cheering on the bad guy than the good guy (ahhh love triangles).  Girls sure do love the bad boys! But I personally think Warner gets a bad rap. I think  he has to be a cruel and ruthless leader in order to be in control of his sector.  Going forward, I think we will see that Warner’s father is the real villain and Warner does what he has to in order to survive in this cutthroat world, just like Adam had to conform to the Reestablishment in order to survive.  So pick up Destroy Me and let Warner win over your heart like he’s won over mine.

One response to “New Release: Destroy Me (Shatter Me #1.5)

  1. I absolutely was Team Warner during Shatter Me, and I’m almost done with Destroy Me (The Presidential Debate got in the way last night) and I’ve officially fallen for Warner. Something about a broken soul that calls to me.
