It’s First Line Friday! Today’s book could also be called a “Flashback Friday” as it’s not a current new release.

First Lines Fridays is a weekly feature for book lovers hosted by Wandering Words. What if instead of judging a book by its cover, its author or its prestige, we judged it by its opening lines? If you want to join the meme be sure to check out Wandering Words, and here are her rules below.
The rules:
- Pick a book off your shelf (or your current read) and open to the first page.
- Copy the first few lines, but don’t give anything else about the book away just yet – you need to hook the reader first.
- Finally…reveal the book!
“Married life wasn’t what I expected.”
These lines are from The Ruby Circle. I chose this book because I am currently reading it in an effort to finish up some long unfinished series! This has been one of my favorite series and I will be so sad to say goodbye to these characters. I am currently 75% through it! If you haven’t checked out the Bloodlines series I highly recommend it.
