Truly haunting. Watch Over Me is a story of trust and found family and coming to terms with the ghosts that haunt us. As a former foster youth, this story struck a chord with me and made me think of the ghosts that haunt me still, 18 years after leaving the foster system. Nina’s books are truly modern classics and I imagine a future where they’re taught rather than the books I read in school.
