Book Rewind: Halloween Mixtape –
Inspired by Creepy Books!
So this is more like a Post Rewind version of Thorwback Thursday, instead of a review of a backlist book, I am resurrecting an old post! This one of the first few creative posts I have ever made on this blog back in 2012…I actually made 4 mixtapes that year, and this was the last one. We used to have a cool plugin that would autoplay the youtube videos and stuff, but since that doesn’t work anymore I thought I would just recreate it in spotify, since that’s the cool place for mixtapes these days! LOL
So this mixtape was inspired by the creepy yet fun books I read all those years ago. This month I read a few fun & spooky books like A Night of Cake & Puppets, A Line in the Dark, The Dream Thieves (The Raven Cycle #2), and The Scorpio Races. I am currently reading Three Dark Crowns and Renegades, which I think both are all in for the October feels!
Here is the copy I posted in 2012:
October, the month of fallen leaves, costumes, free candy, and things that go bump in the night. Which is why I love reading horror and supernatural books this month. So far I have read Girl of Nightmares (Anna Dressed in Blood #2), Outpost (Razorland #2), Walking Dead Vol. 3, and Alice in Zombieland all very good & very zombie!
HOPE YOU ENJOY!

Love Lullaby by The Cure!
One of my favorite bands of all time!
Yes, love them! Have you heard of AFI? The Cure is one of their inspirations.
