Cover Crush: Reign of the Fallen
by Sarah Glenn Marsh
Reign of the Fallen by Sarah Glenn Marsh definitely needs to be a cover crush! Holy smokes! I love this cover so much! When it was revealed I just about did a dance! I love the baroque look, and give me a skull and I will rock it! This is going to look soooo good in hardcover and I can’t wait! Reign of the Fallen is a fantasy series that follows a necromancer who must help solve the mystery about how so many of the resurrected dead are turning into monsters that are terrorizing the community. One thing I am super excited for is that the lead character is representative of the LGBT community. I don’t want to put pressure on it and build it up too much, but I am so so ready for a kickass, f/f, fantasy romance! Be sure to add Reign of the Fallen to your TBR for the January 23rd, 2018 release!

An LGBT fantasy series that follows a talented necromancer who must face down a deadly nemesis who has learned how to turn her magic into a weapon.
Odessa is one of Karthia’s master necromancers, catering to the kingdom’s ruling Dead. Whenever a noble dies, it’s Odessa’s job to raise them by retrieving their souls from a dreamy and dangerous shadow world called the Deadlands. But there is a cost to being raised–the Dead must remain shrouded, or risk transforming into zombie-like monsters known as Shades. If even a hint of flesh is exposed, the grotesque transformation will begin.
A dramatic uptick in Shade attacks raises suspicions and fears among Odessa’s necromancer community. Soon a crushing loss of one of their own reveals a disturbing conspiracy: someone is intentionally creating Shades by tearing shrouds from the Dead–and training them to attack. Odessa is faced with a terrifying question: What if her necromancer’s magic is the weapon that brings Karthia to its knees?
A lavish fantasy with a surprising and breathtaking LGBT romance at its core, Reign of the Fallen is a gutsy, unpredictable read that will grab readers by the throat and never let go…
I am DYING over this cover. It is so incredible. I cannot wait for this book!!
I know right?! I am so excited to start reading it but I have like 100 May & June books to still conquer!
Hahaha! Same here. Kyle was asking me if I thought I needed more balance last night, and I was just like, you mean more hardcover books vs audiobooks? I don’t understand? LOL.
