  1. What did you think of Reth in this book? He seemed uncharacteristically human to me.
  2. What are your feelings on Evie’s journey of self-discovery? What about Lend’s and Evie’s relationship?
  3. What did you think of Evie being so bothered about being manipulated into doing things?
  4. Jack. Jack. Jack. Did you love to hate him or hate to love him or somewhere in between. (I think he’s adorable)
  5. This book, as well as the other two in the series, has a certain blend of humor and suspense. Do you think that helps the plot or takes away from it?
