Review:

[book rating=5/5]

Nate Anderson is tired of being one of the “Anderson Triplets”. The trio was great in high school, but this was supposed to be his time to get away and just be Nate. After yet another mishap, Nate takes the first opportunity to move out and away from his brothers…even if that means moving in with a girl.

Jordan is your typical LA girl in New York…flip flops and all. She is a complete movie enthusiast, who believes life is just a series of movie quotes.

Can Nate use Jordan’s expertise in movies to help him navigate this new adult life?

I actually really liked this book. I thought the character’s were well thought out, and portrayed beautifully. As a reader, I knew exactly how she wanted me to feel about each and every person that graced her pages. The ones I loved, I really loved. The ones I hated, I REALLY hated. 🙂

This was a pretty straight forward book for me. It had a few twists and turns that kept the story interesting, but it wasn’t anything that really threw me for a loop, but that was honestly okay with me.

Oram always gives me all the feels when I read one of her books. I can go from happy to annoyed, then from hopeful to screaming at my kindle. (honestly, you can ask my husband 🙂 ) That is just one of the things that makes me truly love her writing.

What can I say about Kelly Oram that hasn’t already been said before? She is a genius. Her writing is so unique, that you could pick her writing out of a lineup without ever having seen a cover. Oram is my go-to author when I am down and want a pick me up. Her books are pretty straight forward, but that is part of their appeal.

Oram’s books are always a quick read for me. And that is part of what keeps me coming back time and time again. I know that if I want to finish a book in a day, or I have a flight I want to pass with a book, she will fit the bill! For being books that are not super lengthy, she takes you through all of the different emotions effortlessly. She is a very talented writer, and this is not exception to that rule.

Kelly Oram is one of the few writers that I will buy books from without ever having read a blurb, or seeing a cover. When I see that she has a new release coming out I just hit the pre-order button, and wait to be whisked away on her next adventure.

All in all, I give this book a 5 out of 5!

If you are looking for a fun, fast, sweet, stand alone book… This is the book for you!

Happy Reading!
