K.A. Linde – 3 Questions
K.A. Linde is steadfast that her book crush belongs to her and her only. She met him first, before the book was ever published…so all of you Kellan Kyle fans out there better back off because he is taken! If you have been under a rock, or just don’t read much romance, Kellan Kyle is the hot rockstar in the Thoughtless series by S.C. Stephens. Now get out from under that rock and read that series!
Ms. Linde is very much into fantasy novels and picking the series she wish she wrote was pretty easy for her. Harry Potter by JK Rowling. She says the real reason is due to all the castles, but honestly who doesn’t wish they wrote such an amazing series!
“There is always a bit of truth in the fiction.” K.A. Linde tells me quite eloquently. There are people and events in her books that have been inspired by her real life. For example, in her book, Following Me, there is a scene in which someone is doing drugs in a public bathroom. Readers seem to criticize this part as being too ridiculous, but K.A. was a witness to this exact same scene in real life. It was not her of course, she just saw someone doing drugs in a public bathroom at a very prominent building in Chicago.

K.A. Linde is the bestselling independent author of the Avoiding series, Off the Record, and Following Me. As a military brat, she traveled the world with her family, imaginary friends, and ever-increasing supply of books. She has spent much of her life dreaming up new worlds and characters and forcing them into awkward, usually life-threatening scenarios.
After graduating from the University of Georgia with a masters degree in political science, she began spending every waking hour putting those characters onto paper. When not writing, she spends her time dancing, collecting paperbacks in the hopes of filling a Beauty and the Beast style library one day, traveling, bargain shopping, playing with her puppies, and still reading anything she can get her hands on.
She currently resides in Georgia with her boyfriend and two puppies, Lucy and Riker, where she is hard at work on her next novel.
