BookCrushin is extremely honored to have been chosen to participate in a 13 day author spotlight & giveaway! 13 bloggers were chosen to participate in a speed dating round robin event on Saturday, May 3rd at the Washington, DC Author Signing Event where we asked each of the 13 authors the same 3 questions to help give everyone a fun insight about each author in attendance! I had so much fun getting to know each author and collecting signatures and swag! Some of my posts will have additional giveaways as well as an event-wide giveaway – scroll all the way to the bottom to find out the schedule and be sure to check back every day until May 19th! Be sure to add to your goodreads, purchase & enter the giveaways!

Luke Young – 3 Questions

Since my blog is called BookCrushin I started off with the best question: Who is your book crush?

Luke chose Victoria Wilde, the best friend to his series lead, Jillian Grayson, in the Friends with Benefits series. She is an older woman who knows what she wants from life and knows exactly how to get it and clearly Luke is into this! Read the books & you’ll understand!

Luke wishes he wrote The Firm by John Grisham, mostly because he couldn’t put the book down. Luke mentioned he has read a lot of Grisham’s older works and enjoys them. It’s a very respectable and well read novel, good choice!

I love asking questions that throw people off guard, but I really think you can learn a lot about a person from their answers. Which is why I asked if any of their real life stories comes through in their books. Luke definitely started  pullingideas for Friends with Partial Benefits from some real life experiences. His college roommate may have been dipping into the older lady pool, but almost all of the story is made up.

“This book hooked me from the start. Not only is it funny, hot and a great read, but it’s funny, hot and a great read. Why aren’t you reading it yet?!…” – Tara Sivec – best-selling author Seduction and Snacks

“When you purchase this book, make sure you are well rested! You will not want to put it down and will be giggling long into the night!…”-Angela McLaurin – The Indie Bookshelf

“Damn Mr. Young, you’re funny, really funny, laugh out loud funny and you write the sexy times with skills. Well done mister…” – Scandal – Scandalicious Book Reviews

“I love funny romances, and I had a great time reading this one. It was a perfect break from the overly intense YAs, and the overly hot billionaire alphas…” – Ana – Ana’s Attic Book Blog

Jillian Grayson is a disillusioned divorcée and best-selling romance novelist who suddenly can’t write a chapter without her hunky male heartthrob suffering ED, an STD, or even worse. Brian Nash is a tennis-obsessed college senior who’s unlucky in love and the roommate and best friend of Jillian’s son, Rob. When Rob brings Brian home for Spring Break, and Brian meets the surprisingly young and tennis passionate Jillian, their shared interest quickly develops into an intense mutual attraction. After nearly giving in to their feelings, they hatch a plan, while under the influence (of something more than just the perfect Miami night), to be Friends With Partial Benefits, complete with rules to define the boundaries. Will the lonely pair continue with this distinctive relationship, actually explore their desires, or discover all of it is a really bad idea?

**This book contains explicit language, sexual content, slightly inappropriate humor and is recommended for mature audiences who like that sorta thing!

Author Bio: Luke Youngluke-young-author

Luke Young is the Kindle and iTunes bestselling author of the Friends With Benefits series as well as the inexplicably forgotten novel Chances Aren’t. Oh, and the missunderstood Chocolate Covered Billionaire Navy SEAL… we almost forgot about that one too.

Young’s Friends With Benefits novels are filled with passion, longing, comedy, and, yes, sex. His relationship comedies feature strong, sexy female characters — women who seize every opportunity for fun and don’t let a little thing like age stand in the way of love or desire. In each book Young sets different wheels in motion, applying his comedic touch and pitch-perfect ear for playful couples’ banter. The result is warm, funny, sexy storytelling at its best.

Young got his start writing screenplays, which earned the praise of contest judges while never quite making it to the “green light.” He adapted his second screenplay into a novel and found himself hooked on the new form. Since then, he’s released five novels, one novella, and one short story.

Young’s prolific nature is a gift to fans across the globe who have enthusiastically embraced the Friends With…Benefits series. This fan support has driven the books up the Kindle bestseller lists. If you enjoy romance, sex, and unexpected hilarity, you will love Young’s books.
