Blog Tour, Feature & Giveaway: 10 Blind Dates by Ashley Elston
10 Blind Dates by Ashley Elston is a holiday themed contemporary romance where our main character’s family plans a bunch of blind dates for her and for today’s blog tour post we are celebrating the blind date theme with a fun post!
Christy had the brilliant idea to plan a friends blind date for each other. So while we may know each other we are going to surprise each other with a planned date.
Be sure to go to Instagram for an exclusive tour giveaway for a chance to win one of 2 Advance Reading Copies of 10 Blind Dates – releasing on October 1st!
Also check back tomorrow for Christy’s planned date!
Kelly’s Planned Friend Date for Christy
10 Blind Dates may be all about finding some romance, but since Christy and I have found our forevers, we thought it would be fun to plan a friend date. No one would plan a better blind date for me than Christy so I am sure my date won’t live up to hers no matter what I plan!
So Christy is the most creative and fun person I know and I definitely want to impress her but I also know she just enjoys hanging with her friends.
I would love to start our best friends date by grabbing some tea and decaf for Christy. Which will give us the start to finding a few bookstores so we can try and find some signed copies of books we don’t own yet.
Then because we both know how hard it is to find time to just relax, we’ll take a nice walk to a scenic location and just sit and read our new purchases in silence for a while. Then hike back in time to still hang out for a bit.
Pretty sure we would see a movie together, bookish adaptations preferred, while sharing some gummy candies. I requested more Swedish Fish & Sour Patch Watermelons, while she will have a grand mixture of anything gummy!
Afterwards we would grab a more filling snack, possibly some grilled cheese sandwiches and some tomato soup. If there happens to be sing along music playing we won’t complain; otherwise we will be talking about the movie adaption vs the book, and what books we want to see adapted next. Also we tend to brainstorm great blog post ideas and talk about our favorite reads.
We might be tapped out after this long day together, but we don’t get many days to hang out so I wanted to make the most of our day!
Come back tomorrow to see what epicness Christy has planned for me, and don’t forget to check out instagram for a chance to win an ARC of 10 Blind Dates by Ashley Elston!

Hopefully we find one of those theaters with the bins of candy OR an awesome candy store. I love this – can we do it!?
I mean yes…of course we are going to do this next time we need to schedule in some time to just be together!
omg this is soooo cute! I love the idea of best friend dates – and this one sounds amazing! I love the cover of this book and definitely will be checking it out. Can’t wait to see what is planned for tomorrow!
Thanks Jamie! It was fun to plan, I came up with tons of ideas, but tried to be more about our personalities than epic date night! lol
