Cover Crush: The Infinite Noise by Lauren Shippen

The Infinite Noise by Lauren Shippen just feels like fall and I just want to be painted into this cover. Yes, I know we are in the first week of summer, but this cover is just too good not to share during our pride month posts. This debut novel is based on the author’s wildly popular The Bright Sessions podcast, and I have been assured you don’t need to listen to the podcast to read this book. This book tackles therapy, superpowers, being a football star, plenty of teenage angst, and coming-of-age self discovery.

The Infinite Noise will be releasing on September 24th, so be sure to add it to your TBR (and there is currently a goodreads giveaway too!).

The cover was illustrated by Victo Ngai.

From Lauren Shippen, the creator of the beloved and award-winning podcast The Bright Sessions, comes the first novel in a series that follows the struggles and discoveries of three teenagers with supernatural abilites who end up on the couch of Dr. Bright, a mysterious therapist who specializes in atypicals.

"What if the X-Men, instead of becoming superheroes, decided to spend some time in therapy?" (Vox on The Bright Sessions)
