Top Ten Fun Facts no one knows about the MORTAL ENCHANTMENT series:

Ariel got her name from The Little Mermaid. It’s my favorite Disney movie.
Lord of the Rings inspired one of the main characters: Aragorn’s alter ego, The Ranger. I imagined what he might be like as his own character (separate from Aragorn) and I created Rowan.
Rowan was originally in another book I wrote…and he was a fallen angel.
When I originally imagined the series, I thought it would all be in Kalin’s point of view.
The question of a main characters parentage will be answered in Eternal Sacrifice.
Avalon’s descriptions are loosely based on the Isle of Skye in Scotland. I’ve always been fascinated by their fairy pools.
Eternal Sacrifice will introduce a very well-known character from Arthurian mythology into the series.
Marcus wasn’t originally in Mortal Enchantment. I wrote him in during final edits because readers loved him so much in The Shadow Prince.
I wrote Mortal Enchantment before I wrote The Shadow Prince.
The title, The Shadow Prince, came from a tarot card.
