I also read and loved City of Ghosts and Ignite the Stars this year. I picked both of these up because I knew the sequels were coming out soon, both of which I also read. I see more books on your lists that I still need to read too.

  2. John Smith

I have a copy of “The Last Life of Prince Alastor” that I haven’t read yet–I very much enjoyed the first book, to which it is a sequel. –As far as backlist reads go, I highly recommend the fantasy adventures of Jonathan Stroud. I discovered them this year, and they’re very fun and exciting!

  3. Pulp – Robin Talley is on two of these lists so now I’m really wondering about that one though I have no clue what it’s about. It’s new to me!

I have read quite a few of your favorites, there are a few that I haven’t read yet, hoping to get to them in the near future! (Jack of Hearts (and Other Parts) – Lev A.C. Rosen, Cold Summer by Gwen Cole, The Disappearance of Sloane Sullivan – Gia Cribs are some of them)

  6. Amanda Miller

I still really want to read The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. It sounds right up my alley.
