Meet the Bloggers Tag

Welcome to our new weekend meme – It’s Personal Saturdays! We love getting to know other bloggers and we figured you all might want to hear from us, too! For our first It’s Personal post, why not start with a Meet the Blogger Tag! This way you can get to know who we are as people and not just all about books, all the time. Just most of the time.

 

1. What is your favorite ice cream flavor?

Kelly – Banana (with chocolate chips and/or caramel drizzle).

Christy – Sweet cream. But now I mostly live off of Halo Top and other protein ice creams.

 

2. What is your favorite color?

K – Purple, but you will see me in mostly black almost all the time.

C – Pink! People used to assume red because of my previous hair color but it’s been pink since I was a teenager.

 

3. Your 3 favorite TV shows? 

K – Supernatural, Bob’s Burgers, and Battlestar Galactica (so many many more).

C – Supernatural. Grey’s Anatomy. Veronica Mars. (Haven is a close 4th)

4. Name a movie you can recite all the scenes?

K – The Princess Bride

C – A Walk to Remember

 

5. What’s the most beautiful place you’ve ever been?

K – Paris, France

C – This random field way outside of the city on the night of the Perseid meteor shower.

 

6. As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

K – A Rockstar. Seriously, I was obsessed with music.

C – A teacher! I never changed what I wanted to do.

 

7. Most embarrassing childhood memory?

K – Catholic school wrap skirt uniform button popping on the play yard…and everyone seeing my underwear. I ran right home (luckily I lived really close to school).

C – Losing my (at the time) false front teeth in front of my friends. I was laughing and they just popped out. They still remind me of this moment!

 

8. If you won the lottery what would you buy?

K – A little farmette to rescue all dogs and have a great garden.

C – Time. I would do things that would give me more time, like having my laundry done and hiring a driver.

 

9. Early bird or a night owl?

K – Neither anymore. I used to be a night owl, now I just want 6hrs of sleep a night.

C – Early bird! I get up before dawn most days.

 

10. If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?

K – Macaroni and Cheese

C – ^ this.

 

11. If you could ask your pet 3 questions, what would they be?

K – What do you want to eat? How can I be a better human? Why do you pee in the house?

C – I really want to know if my chihuahua would rather be an only pet, why my cat stares at walls, and what happened to our corgi before she came to live with us.

 

12. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

K – Japan

C – Washington, DC.

 

13. If you could shop for free at one store, which would you choose?

K – IKEA – they have everything.

C – Target. I spend a lot of time and money at Target.

 

14. Who would play you in a movie about your life?

K –  No clue. Why don’t you tell me?

C – Well, what part of my life? This is a tough question.

 

15. Who’s your celebrity crush?

K – I have weak spot for Jennifer Lawrence.

C – Brendon Urie.
