Reckless is exactly what I expected from Lex Martin, full of laughter, smiles, snark, heartbreak, love, and damn sexy! Lex Martin is an auto-buy author for me, and my go-to whenever I want to read contemporary romance. She can always guarantee a fun read and I can’t imagine missing out on any of her books!

I never thought I would find a book about a young divorced dad all that sexy. BUT Lex does it again, and I am a melted puddle, full of emotions after finishing this book. Ethan is kind, loving, and fiercely protective of his kids, family, and his farm. He always did the right thing and gave his wife anything she wanted, little did he know it was him and the kids she didn’t want. Now that the divorce is almost settled, Ethan never expected Tori to sweep him off his feet.

Tori is a firecracker. She is reckless. Goes full-throttle and after being so completely destroyed by her last boyfriend, she ended up failing a few of her final classes at university and now has been stuck thinking what she could have done. She is also staying clear of all men…until Ethan. Tori’s sister asks her to come be close by for her as she is nearing the end of her pregnancy, and to be a live in nanny for the summer at the neighbor’s ranch. The chemistry is electric and she immediately tells the Ethan off to try and sabotage this before anything can start.

And it starts…Tori is completely amazing with Ethan’s kids. Ethan is busy every day, but when it comes time to wind down, he finds himself spending time with Tori. They become friends and get to know one another. They both are doing everything in their power to ignore their feelings for each other for as long as they possibly can. Tori knows it isn’t a good idea, and Ethan is having such a tumultuous time with his ex-wife. But this kind of attraction cannot be denied for long, and oh boy they are smoking hot together!

Reckless is full of the sweetest love for both the children and for each other. Tori and Ethan are perfect. I was flying through the pages and knowing my heart may break but I knew that there would be a HEA waiting for me.
