Jennifer L. Armentrout – 3 Questions
Jennifer’s book crush is Tod Hudson from The Soul Screamers series by Rachel Vincent. Tod is witty, determined and one hundred percent crush worthy! Jennifer is a big fan of the series and of course Tod!
When Jennifer obsesses over a book or series it’s pretty serious! She is a massive fan of J. R. Ward’s adult paranormal series, Black Dagger Brotherhood. She thinks the characters are well developed and just loves the way they talk in the book, it feels natural and true to real life. She also catches herself saying a lot of the jargon, like ‘home-skillet’ at home in her everyday vernacular. So it’s really no surprise that she wishes she wrote this one, who wouldn’t!
Just a little bit of Jennifer’s real life makes it into her stories, but something truthful makes it into every novel. It could be a real life situation or event and sometimes even a character is based on a trait of someone she knows. So it may not be the main plot points, but there is some nod to the truth in all of her books.
