The battle rages on.

Ali Bell and Cole Holland’s crew of zombie slayers thought they’d won the war against Anima Industries, the evil company responsible for capturing and experimenting on zombies in an effort to discover the secret to immortality. In the last epic clash, the slayers lost many of their crew and closest friends. But Frosty, the ice man himself, has not recovered from one casualty in particular—the love of his life, Kat Parker.

On the path to self-annihilation, Frosty receives a message from beyond—Kat’s spirit returns, insisting he partner with rogue slayer Camilla Marks. Frosty will do anything for Kat. Except that. Camilla is the one who betrayed them all, leading to Kat’s death.

But when Anima rises from the grave to become a force the slayers may not have the strength to overcome, Frosty, Camilla and all the slayers will have to work together to survive. And one broken slayer will learn that sometimes, the line between hate and attraction is blurred…and the road to redemption isn’t through revenge, but in letting go of the past and grabbing hold of the future.

My Phobias:

This blog tour is all about phobias. Each day a blog is hosting one of the characters from The White Rabbit Chronicles fears as well as one blog gets to share our own phobia. Well today you get to hear all about my phobias and they run deep. But wow, how do I make a phobia sound interesting? Yeah, probably not going to happen. Maybe that’s one of the things I am afraid of? I am definitely afraid of not being funny, being a bad writer, or people not liking me, or being a big failure – all true.

I have many fears, some are common and some are weird, but one of my biggest fears is suffocation. In any way, shape, or form. No necklaces or turtlenecks, don’t even think about a mask of any sort, especially if it completely covers my face (found that out the hard way in a costume store & broke the eff down & made my nose bleed trying to get the mask off whilst in panic mode). Also, never caress my neck – it doesn’t do it for me. Don’t come up behind me and cover my eyes, definitely don’t sneak up and thrown your arm across my shoulders to embrace, and please don’t ever squeeze me hard enough to make me think I will lose my breath.

My fear of suffocating also reaches far into the realms of swimming, flying, small spaces, enclosed spaces, and especially windowless spaces (egads!). It also doesn’t help alleviate any of my fear that I can asphyxiate from anaphylaxis if I am stung by any stinging insect especially bees. Just the other week I had been bitten by so many mosquitos and had such a severe reaction that I almost gave myself an epinephrin shot but I tried a large does of antihistamines first and it did the trick.

So suffocating is scary stuff and plausible on so many levels and I think that my fear is totally valid. But I also have plenty of irrational fears like being judged, cheated on, lied to, taken advantage of, death, being alone, spiders, snakes, ghosts and aliens! Oh my!

Happy Friday the 13th!

One of my biggest phobias, especially where I live, is tornadoes. I’ve been in one—thankfully a low grade one, but still…very scary! Thanks.

I don’t have many “phobias,” but I’m not a huge fan of spiders! Fun fact about me, I was born on Friday the 13th! 🙂

    • I love that fun fact!
Ps. I am also not a fan of spiders…ack! It’s irrational because I know they eat all the other pesky insects, but I just don’t want them around me!

  3. Susan T.

Spiders totally creep me out too! I don’t mind most other creepy crawlies except gross things like cockroaches and mosquitos. I’m also claustrophobic and hate tunnels and caves. I have to agree about tornados too!

  4. Linda Townsend

I have a phobia about spiders and praying mantis! I’ve watched too many old horror movies, obviously.
