Emergency Contact by Mary H.K. Choi just calls to me! I love the drawn aesthetic and it really pulls me into it to look deeper. I think this cover really conveys a lot about the book as well, well as much as I know from the synopsis. Plus the drawing is freaking beautiful. I am swooning over these two fictional characters and I don’t even know them yet! Emergency Contact takes a in-depth look into the lives of people who text each other, and the shared intimacy that can grow just from sharing via texting. I feel like this contemporary romance is exactly a reflection on the current ways of our world. Personally for me, I love texting and my online friendships I have built, I can only imagine if I was younger and dating how that would be so different than back in my day! Emergency Contact is releasing on March 27th, so be sure to check this one out and add it to your TBR!
